December 15, 2013: INVESTBANK, the leading bank in client relations, signed an agreement with Visa International releasing the first Visa Signature Credit Card in Jordan. CEO, Mr. Muntaser Dawwas signed the agreement on behalf of the Bank in the company of Mr. Tariq Sakkijha, Assistant General Manager; Head of Retail Banking. On behalf of Visa International, Mr. Nabil Tabbara, General Manager of Near East Countries, signed the agreement accompanied by Mr. Ali Abdel Jabbar, Director of Visa in Jordan, Palestine, and Iraq.

The Bank will provide this credit card exclusively to its prominent PRIME members, who will enjoy various features in particular towards travel, and additional services that will add convenience to their lives and ease their daily transactions, whether local or international while abroad. The Visa Signature Credit Card is accepted by tens of millions of shopping centers and points of sale around the world, and the global Visa network including 1.9 million ATMs around the world.

Dawwas commented regarding the launch of the new product saying: “We always strive to be proactive in serving our clients and providing them with new and leading services in the local market. The Visa Signature Card offers Concierge services like those found at hotels, and cardholders can take advantage of these services within Jordan or in any other country at any time throughout the year. This includes travel tickets and hotel reservations made via the phone or online through the Visa website (www.visa.com). Card holders are granted special advantages at a number of the most prominent international airports around the world: entering VIP lounges in 35 international airports with the Priority ePass and obtain special prices at over 900 hotels around the world, in addition to other travel-related offers and discounts.

It must be noted that Visa Signature focuses to a large extent on security related issues for its users offering them travel accident insurance, coverage for costs associated with trip delays, compensation for delays or lost baggage, and expenditures associated with personal accidents or medical expenses in emergency situations.
