INVESTBANK Supports ‘Revive Gaza’s Farmland’ in Cooperation with the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

August 6, 2025

INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative solutions, has announced its support for the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature to implement a vegetable cultivation project in the Gaza Strip. The initiative is part of the ongoing ‘Revive Gaza’s Farmland’ project, launched a year and a half ago. This support aligns with the bank’s social responsibility programs and its strategic direction of advancing the social and economic well-being of communities.

This contribution is part of broader humanitarian efforts to alleviate the difficult conditions faced by Gaza residents. The project aims to rehabilitate and cultivate farmland with essential vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cauliflower. It is expected to enhance food security, reduce hunger, and strengthen the resilience of the agricultural sector, widely regarded as a symbol of perseverance and sustainability.

Muntaser Dawwas, Chairman of INVESTBANK, affirmed that the initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting communities affected by crises and bolstering their resilience. “Supporting ‘Revive Gaza’s Farmland’ aligns with our vision to create sustainable solutions that improve food security and generate income and job opportunities for residents of the Gaza Strip,” he stated, adding that the bank is keen to collaborate with partners who are dedicated to achieving real, impactful, and lasting change in society.

The General Manager of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, Mariam Al Jaajaa expressed her gratitude for the bank’s support, emphasizing that it strengthens efforts to assist farmers in Gaza, who serve as the first line of defense for food sovereignty in the region. She noted that the project will contribute to reviving agricultural lands and providing a reliable source of income for dozens of families.

It is worth noting that this is the first collaboration between INVESTBANK and the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature. The partnership is part of the bank’s ongoing mission to support initiatives with a sustainable development impact. Through this support, 15 acres of agricultural land in the Gaza Strip will be rehabilitated.
