Reaffirming its strong commitment to social responsibility and support for impactful national initiatives, INVESTBANK – the leader in providing innovative banking solutions – has renewed its strategic partnership with the Jordan Trail Association. The renewed partnership will support two flagship programs: the “Adopt a Trail” initiative and the “Youth Leadership Empowerment Program”. This collaboration underscores the bank’s belief in investing in projects that create a positive, lasting impact on the environment, society, and the local economy.
As part of this partnership, INVESTBANK continues to sponsor the trail segment named after the late Abdul Rahim Jardaneh. Spanning 14.6 kilometers from Khirbet Al-Souk to King Talal Dam, the trail is being rehabilitated and prepared to welcome hikers and visitors from around the world. Beyond preserving Jordan’s natural beauty, the initiative also creates direct job opportunities for young people and local communities, while promoting responsible eco-tourism and reinforcing Jordan’s position as a leading global tourism destination.
The “Youth Leadership Empowerment Program”, meanwhile, targeted 40 scouts from Jordanian universities in collaboration with the Jordanian Association for Scouts and Guides. The program featured a three-day specialized training workshop at Princess Basma Camp, where participants developed practical skills in planning and managing outdoor activities along tourism trails. The training combined education with a love of nature and teamwork, equipping participants with leadership skills such as compass use, route planning, and first aid. The program culminated in a field adventure where participants applied their new skills, with the ultimate goal of preparing them to become active, influential members of their communities and future leaders in the scouting movement.
Commenting on the partnership, Muntaser Dawwas, Chairman of INVESTBANK, said, “We are proud to continue our partnership with the Jordan Trail Association. Supporting eco-tourism and empowering young people are core pillars of our contribution to society and the national economy. By rehabilitating natural trails, we not only enhance Jordan’s position on the global tourism map but also create opportunities for young people by providing jobs and cultivating leadership skills that will shape the future”.
The Jordan Trail Association expressed its appreciation for INVESTBANK’s continued support, noting that the bank’s contribution extends beyond financial assistance. The Association emphasized that this true partnership helps achieve its mission of preserving Jordan’s national heritage, empowering local communities, and preparing a new generation of environmentally conscious young leaders.d ensuring that meals reach beneficiaries in optimal condition.
By supporting the project, INVESTBANK contributes directly to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which provide a global roadmap for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. This support also aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision, which seeks to build a resilient and sustainable economy.
