INVESTBANK Renews Partnership with Microsoft, STS

AMMAN— INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative services, renewed its agreement signed with Microsoft and the Specialized Technical Services (STS) that allows for the provision of Microsoft software license and cloud computing programs.

The agreement was signed by Muntaser Dawwas, INVESTBANK’s CEO, Hussein Malhas, Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan and Palestine as well as Ayman Mazahreh, STS CEO.

Commenting on this strategic agreement, Dawwas said: “We are delighted to have Microsoft and STS as our partners, and renewing this agreement positively reflects on streamlining the bank’s workflow. The continuity of this partnership comes in result of the distinguished experience of both Microsoft and STS which helped in enhancing the efficiency of the bank’s management operations.” Dawwas also stressed the bank’s appreciation for the Jordanian expertise working within the field of information technology as they have proved their competitiveness regionally and globally.“
In turn, Hussein Malhas, commented, “By renewing its Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, INVESTBANK will be able to meet its organizational objectives and achieve operational excellence across its various departments. By virtue of this partnership, INVESTBANK can leverage Microsoft products and technologies to enhance its system’s reliability, availability, supportability and manageability. At Microsoft Jordan, we are wholly committed to optimizing productivity within the Jordanian banking sector, and this agreement takes us yet another step forward in that direction.

For his part, Mazahreh stressed STS’s commitment to support the banking sector in the Kingdom and the region, in addition to its continuous support to INVESTBANK as a strategic partner that the company is proud with. He added that as a leading company in providing integrated information technology solutions for the mega projects in Jordan and the region and being a "golden" partner for Microsoft, STS is keen to provide Microsoft solutions to the Bank in order to improve performance in the work place and empower the Bank's staff to achieve highest levels of benefit from its commercial investments.

The agreement allows the Bank to use license of Microsoft programs and cloud computing services for three years at preferential rates. It also enables the Bank to benefit from all software guarantees and simplified licensed management via an agreement at the level of the one institution.
