INVESTBANK biggest winner in “The Banker Middle East” Product Awards 2014 in Jordan

INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative services, won three prestigious awards from “The Banker Middle East Levant Product Awards” for 2014.

INVESTBANK was recognized for its excellence in three categories: Best Cash Management for corporates and SMEs, Best Credit Card for Visa Platinum, and Best New SME Product awarded to INVVESTBANK’s subsidiary, AL IMDAD.

The Banker magazine, issued by CPI financials, is one of the world’s most prestigious international financial affairs and economics publications owned by The Financial Times Ltd.

“INVESTBANK has come out on top as the biggest winner in Jordan in The Banker Middle East Levant Product Awards 2014,” said Adam Broom, Chief Executive Officer of CPI Financial, publisher of The Banker Middle East. “The bank was able to beat off its challengers over four weeks of hotly-contested voting,” he added.

The bank came out as the biggest winner this year following a fierce round of competition that included 139 candidates across 27 categories. INVESTBANK was nominated according to a set of financial KPIs; performance efficiency, total equity, capital adequacy index, total assets, revenue, in addition to other indicators showing the financial steadiness of the winning enterprises, as well as, R&D capabilities and the availability of modern banking services.

INVESTBANK appointed Grant-Thornton-ME to develop its risk management and operational assessment systems given its unique experience as one of the world’s top 5 audit and consultancy companies.

INVESTBANK is among the first institutions in Jordan to implement corporate governance based on international best practices, including a decentralized independent management board that consists of highly qualified new recruits in compliance with the Central Bank of Jordan’s guidelines.
