Amman, Jordan – ??)?March 2011??(?? – As part of their commitment to serving the ?community, INVESTBANK paid tribute to their first sponsored environmental ?corporate social responsibility for 2011 by hosting the global “Earth Hour,” an event ?that has been organized for the third year by the Royal Society for the Conservation ?of Nature (RSCN). This event took place Saturday, March 26, 2011 and was ?organized with the help of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) at Wild Jordan ?with the turnout of hundreds of attendees.?

This event was created to encourage the community to stop the over consumption of ?energy and to conserve on carbon emissions that are harmful to the environment. ?

INVESTBANK volunteers assisted in the event by manning the candle and t-shirt ?distribution as well as distributing INVESTBANK’s unique promotional awareness gift, ?a car window sign, which highlights the need to “Save Jordan’s Energy”. ?

INVESTBANK thanks all who made this event possible and successful especially to ?their sponsored students of Al Aman Fund, INVESTBANK employees, and clients as ?well as the RSCN and GAM. ?

It is worth mentioning that the Greater Amman Municipality participated by turning ?off all the main streetlights. INVESTBANK also did their part by turning off the lights ?of all their branches and buildings for one hour between 8:30pm – 9:30pm in ?recognition of “Earth Hour.
