INVESTBANK, the leader in providing innovative banking solutions, continues to support children diagnosed with autism and their families, offering new scholarships and training opportunities through its partnership with the Society for the Care of Gifted Autistic Children (SGAC).

Initiated in 2016 under “INVESTBANK for Life”, the Bank's corporate social responsibility effort for philanthropic and charitable support, this sponsorship builds on INVESTBANK’s unwavering commitment to support the integration of various segments of the local community, and to help individuals with special needs in fulfilling their potential and becoming active members in their communities

Commenting on this sponsorship, INVESTBANK CEO Muntaser Dawwas said: “Our support for SGAC over the past three years has had a considerable positive impact on the students and their families by contributing to the creation of a wholesome and inclusive learning environment. The work being done by SGAC is impressive, as the society continues to support autistic children in learning the foundational skills required to transcend communication and learning barriers and achieve self-actualization.”

For his part, the president of the society, Yousef Mohammad, voiced appreciation for the role played by INVESTBANK and its management in supporting autistic children, significantly contributing over the past three years to covering the school tuition of the children sponsored by the charity, especially those who have previously faced difficulties in enrolling in government schools due to the high cost of education that is unaffordable by the majority of families of autistic children, this support helped them to be fully integrated in their schools and making successes that rise to the level of their peers.

Since its inception, SGAC has adopted an evidence-based approach toward supporting autistic children, leveraging the power of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) to help students develop better communication and behavioral patterns that allow them to overcome obstacles and thrive as happy and productive members of their community. The Jordan-based non-profit also helps families by providing support to parents with positive coping mechanisms and easily-replicable educational disciplines.
