INVESTBANK and the Children’s Museum Jordan Launch New Gardening and Ecosystem Kits for Children

Thursday, July 7, 2022

INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative banking solutions, has announced its support for the Gardening and Eco boxes developed under the educational products umbrella of the Children’s Museum Jordan.

The two boxes encourage children to connect with nature through unconventionally grouped tools that help them practice gardening and develop eco-solutions. The Gardening Box focuses on the importance of planting native seeds, which are more compatible with the local environment in comparison with hybrid or synthetic seeds. Children can use the materials and tools available in the box to grow three types of local plants including parsley, watercress and spinach. The Eco Box offers a range of environmental applications and solutions that allow children to make a model of a house that lights up using solar energy, a simplified water filtration system as well as design and decorate a tote bag to be used instead of environmentally harmful plastic bags.

Commenting on the partnership, INVESTBANK CEO Muntaser Dawwas said, “We continue our commitment to invest in environmental projects that focus on sustainability and community empowerment, which is why we have offered our support to the development of the Museum’s Gardening and Eco boxes. We believe that this creative project will help the museum, which is a non-profit organization, simultaneously plan for long-term financial sustainability as well as spread environmental awareness among children in an interactive and fun way.”

According to Children’s Museum Jordan Director Sawsan Dalaq, the partnership with INVESTBANK, which was forged in 2017, creates impact through educational programs. She went on to add, “I am proud and encouraged by the results of this partnership, and I look forward to seeing the market’s interaction with our new educational environmental products. We are eager to cooperate with all parties that wish to showcase our products and support the sustainability of our educational mission.”

Gardening and Eco boxes is be available in the local market as of July 7 at the Children’s Museum Jordan and other points of sale.
