INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative banking services, has announced the signing of an agreement with the Young Muslim Women\u2019s Association (YMWA), under which the bank will sponsor the YMWA for Special Education \u2013 an institution managed by the association that provides education and training to people with special needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative stems from INVESTBANK\u2019s commitment to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of all segments of the local community, particularly the often-marginalized segments; children, young, and adults with special needs. By supporting forward-thinking organizations like the YMWA for Special Education, the Bank hopes to contribute to improving the quality of life of people with special needs and to provide them with the knowledge and training necessary to become active members of their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Young Muslim Women\u2019s Association, Khadija Saraj, lauded the initiative taken by INVESTBANK, saying: \u201cThe YMWA is deeply grateful to INVESTBANK for demonstrating a sincere understanding of the sensitivities associated with our work with people with special needs, as well as its efforts to support the activities of the association. The YMWA Center for Special Education was established in 1974 under the patronage of HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan. Today, the center serves around 120 students (mild to moderate mentally handicapped) of both genders, most of whom come from underprivileged families and cannot cover the full cost of their education. In addition to offering a holistic education experience, the centre also ensures that the basic needs of the students are met, providing clothing, transportation, warm meals, medical checkups and monetary assistance to some of the less fortunate families.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
