INVESTBANK renews its sponsorship of Dozan Wa Awtar for the third year in a row

Thu, 03/01/2018

INVESTBANK, the leader in providing innovative financial solutions, has announced its main sponsor of Jordanian choir Dozan Wa Awtar for the third year in a row as the award-winning vocal ensemble plans a series of special performances throughout 2018.

The performances will continue the ensemble’s tradition of creating modern renditions of classical Arabic choir music, paying homage to local and regional heritage while offering audiences truly memorable experiences.

In February, Dozan Wa Awtar will be exploring the shared musical heritage of classical Arabic, Balkan, Moroccan and Armenian music, highlighting the common roots that bind these cultures together. Arabic poetic form — or Muashahat — will take center stage in May with a tribute to this ancient and meticulous form of choir music, while the ensemble will conclude the year with yet another stupendous Christmas performance.

INVESTBANK’s CEO, Muntaser Dawwas commented. “Dozan wa Awtar whose previous performances have been acclaimed by our clients, continues to raise the bar for creative expression and play a part in broadening the horizons of Jordan’s art and culture landscape”.

Dawwas further explained that music constitutes one of the most sublime mediums for expressing emotion and cultural identity, which is why supporting local talents in the field is among the key pillars of INVESTBANK’s beliefs.

Formed in 2008, Dozan wa Awtar is the leading secular choir in Jordan with a diverse membership and musical style, and the ensemble welcomes people of all nationalities who want to experience the joy of singing. Performing several concerts each year throughout the Kingdom, the choir explores music as a way of building a community rooted in love and mutual respect.
