INVESTBANK Receives Data Security Certificate for the Second Consecutive Year

Monday, January 23, 2017

For the second year in a row, INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative banking solutions, has received a certificate for its efforts to protect clients' credit card data.

INVESTBANK was awarded the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) after having met the certificate's rigorous security requirements, and is currently the first bank in the Kingdom to deploy the latest 3.2 version to the data-guarding systems.

INVESTBANK CEO Muntaser Dawwas said: “We are particularly proud of being upgraded to the 3.2 version, which strengthens our commitment to ensure highest security standards for our clients’ financial records.”

He added: “Security is a number one priority for INVESTBANK when it comes to online transactions, we continuously innovate and work diligently to consistently secure our systems.”

PCI Data Security Standard is well-regarded as the mark of strong cyber security in the international marketplace. It applies to all entities that store, process, and transmit cardholder data.

To meet the PCI DSS standards, INVESTBANK sought the help of British RandomStorm Ltd, a top-tier security firm for system vulnerability management. The company helped the bank secure the 3.1 and 3.2 versions by bringing its online payment security up to international code.

For his part, Dr. Ramzi Al Sunna, co-founder of ScanWave CTS and Randomstorm Manager in the Middle East, said: “As e-commerce grows bigger and bigger in the region each year, we must recognize the growing security threats and work increasingly hard to help local entities tighten their data security in order to prevent potential breaches.”
