INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative banking solutions, is proud to be the platinum sponsor of the French Week in Jordan, Le French Marche’, which is held in Amman's Boulevard Abdali between November 20 and 26 in addition to several prominent venues of Amman.

INVESTBANK CEO Muntaser Dawwas said: “We are eager to be a main Platinum sponsor in this year’s event, which reveals the strong ties between Jordan and France. We believe that the understanding of cultures is one of the main pillars of any trade driven economy and these events can contribute to boosting the Franco Jordanian economic ties.”

“More importantly, France has significant investments in the Kingdom across many sectors, including telecommunication, banking, and energy, which demonstrates their faith in Jordan’s investment climate. These investments are instrumental in strengthening Jordan’s banking system and the economy as a whole.”

CAFRAJ President Ahmad Armoush stressed the importance of holding the French Week to promote the significant French Presence in the Kingdom taking into consideration that France is the first non-Arab foreign investor in Jordan with a volume of investment amounting to 1.5 billion euros, he also noted that CAFRAJ was established in 1998 with the objective of developing Franco Jordanian commercial and economic relations. CAFRAJ organizes economic trade missions and forums in the key economic sectors of the country.

The event, which is organized by the Franco Jordanian Chamber of Commerce (CAFRAJ) in collaboration with the French Embassy in Amman and Institut Français de Jordanie, offers a jam-packed agenda that promises Parisian elegance. From a spectacular gala dinner, to a photography and sculpture exhibition and an elegant piano concert, guests will get the chance to live the Parisian dream for a week.

The La Soiree Gala Dinner will offer food prepared by the renowned, two Michelin starred chef Stephane Buron and Rios Productions Entertainment on November 24 at the Le Meridien Hotel.

While a Soiree D'art will be held on November 21 at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Jabal Weibdeh. The exhibition, titled "Imagine France", will feature the works of sculptor Patrick Renault and photographer Maia Flore.

Jordanian music lovers will also be ecstatic to learn of a Soiree Musicale with French pianist Orlando Bass and Jordanian pianist Rania Ejeilat on November 23 in al Hussein Cultural Center. This event is organized by CAFRAJ and the Friends of Jordan Festival and will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ra'ad Bin Zeid and Princess Majda Ra'ad.

After the event’s great success in 2014, organizers have decided to hold the second French Week this year to highlight and promote the strong French presence in the Kingdom by featuring a number of French companies, French culture, music, food, sports and expertise.
