INVESTBANK in cooperation with RSCN develop a wealth of learning opportunities for kids in Ajloun Reserve

INVESTBANK, the leading bank in providing innovative financial solutions, signed an agreement with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) to sponsor and develop an eco-friendly educational children’s play area in Ajloun reserve.

The agreement, which falls under the bank’s extensive sustainability agenda “INVESTBANK Sun Fund”Corporate Social Responsibility programs, will allow INVESTBANK to develop the project with an eye on education and environmental awareness.

The proposed children’s area will be situated at the Ajloun Nature Reserveand will feature fun, environmental and educational games and recreational equipment, which will be available to all its young visitors and local community,allowing them to simultaneously learn and play in a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Through the designed area, children can learn about the environment, nature and how to protect it, while simultaneously stimulate their mind and improve their social skills in a safe and eco-friendly area designed just for them. The games, which have been selected based on stringent criteria, take into account diverse ages and physical abilities, and were created based on the indigenous life present at the Ajloun Nature Reserve.

At the signing, INVESTBANK CEO Muntaser Dawwas said, “We are proud to merge forces again with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature aiming to create more sustainable projects and form a 360 snowball effect in Ajloun province.”

“Beyond being a fun outdoor activity, this dedicated area reveals the importance for a child’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and interpersonal development as well as develop their social skills, and it is time to alter the traditional approach in the education to a participatory approach to achieve a high standards“, added Dawwas.

INVESTBANK collaborates with the RSCN on sustainable projects, with focus on Ajloun area. The eight year old organic farming project with Ajloun’s Community Based Organizations Al Kifah association and Um al Yanabee Women Association, developing sustainable farming systems and training farmers on the most progressive growing, packaging and marketing techniques, and help them market their produce through Al Shams’ Farmers’ Market.
